He showed them something he was carrying in a box.

The three looked into the box.
¿Qué es lo que buscaban?
What were they looking for?
Buscaban un brazo.
They were looking for an arm.
¿Por qué me cuentas historias como esa?
Why do you tell me stories like that?
Creía que te gustaban.
I thought you liked them.
Me ponen los pelos de punta.
They make my hair stand on end.
