Neural Crest Flashcards

1
Q

Formation

A
  1. Strip of ectodermal cells along neural groove lateral edge
  2. As neural folds fuse forming neural tube, the 2 neural crests fuse then separate as 2 longitudinal cords which migrate centrally to lie on each side of neural tube
