Enlarged breast which occurs in a variety of clinical settings with increased estrogen
Unilateral or bilateral
No lobules or acini in male breast
Proliferation of dense periductal collagenous tissue with marked hyperplasia of ductal epithelium

- Rare - ratio to female breast CA 1:125
- Advanced age
- 15-20% have family history of breast/ovarian cancer (increased risk in BRCA1 & BRCA2 carriers)
- Same pattern of spread as female breast CA
- Usually diagnosed at higher stage than female breast CA
