The atp-pc is broken down using the enzyme creatine kinase to break down the creatine and single phosphate to produce energy

The energy released from this reaction is then used to reconnect the free phosphate to Adenosine Diphosphate to recreate ATP. The ATP will then be used again for muscular contractions.

Wgar happens after?
A
Once ATP/PC is exhausted the glycolytic system will predominate until around 3 minutes of exercise have been completed or fatigue causes the performer to stop.
