Ball and socket have greater flexibility than hinge,as they can move in any direction around the centre point, can move side to side swell as up and down

Women are more flexible due to hormones, oestrogen. pregnant women produce more oestrogen and have more elasticity around the joints

More flexible in children elasticity
flexibility decreases with increase of age due to a decreased range of motion and increased califiation of cts.
How does temperature affect flexibility?
Temperature increases joint and range of motion after warm up
