Now gives greater access and oppurting to take part in sport, still inequality of access due to indepentn and state schools but narrowing

Competition- teams and inter school fixtures give pupils to compete compettiivly
extra curricular clubs- launch clubs and after school wide particiaption
qualifiactions- pe introduce spupuls to wide range of sports
