What is cognitive learning?
A
Centered around thinking and understanding
Based on the learning that is is best achieved by presenting the whole skill or problem to the learner
(Gestalt theory- means the whole)

What is the process of cognitive learning?
A
1) Learner will be given a problem/ in a real situation
2) Learners thinks about and understands the problems as a whole in a realistic situation
3) Leaners use intervening variable (effect of what we do) between the presentation and stimulus and their response
4) Learners use perception, mental rehearsal or reminisce to aid with their learning
5) Insight learning occurs through thinking about the problem as a whole and responding correctly to it
