varied amount of sport; the nfl, ipl
pay per view- media companies paying premier ;league millions then sell it to fans; Tyson fury fight
sport stars now celebrities, brands will want to associate with them

A

Tends to support the more popular sports like football, leaving the lesser sports out like baseball
changes to sport rules are informed (to make sport friendly and buzz)
Increase in adverts and breaks of bands, lose some sport traditions

full time job makes them have better oppurnity/standard
more branding- become celebrity
Maximum exposure to support own brand- tiger woods and nike

Increased financial pressure- win at all costs mentality creating more likeness of deviance and drug doping
pressure of brand- Rory mcilory using nike and playing bad
loss of sponsorship- if injured pressure of losing brand as not covering brand
attend public speaking- exhausted after a days worth of match
generally focuses on the majority like males and able bodied rather than disabled

A

More variance of sport, less boring
better experience of game- ref body cam more action
Increase of media meaning better standard and golden triangle
good for sociable events like going to the pub to watch game

Increased price of merchandise due to media; tops
more advert breaks/disrupts game
enocourages spectating not participating; after the olympics participation decreased as more were watching on tv
shows more deviant behvaviour and will create bad role models
