- maturation of some lymphocytes and monocytes
Why are lymph nodes important to cancer?
Because they are located around the body and can spread easily to other organs
What 2 lymphatic vessels drains the breast?
- Drains skin over the breast
- minus the skin of the areola and nipple - Drains underlying substances of breast, plus the skin of the areola and nipple
What percentage of lymph is found in the breast?
More than 85%
- axillary region

- Palatine tonsils
