श्रीमत्करिकराकारैराहार्यन्ते भुजैः श्रियः ॥१५१॥
THE SENSE SEEMS TO DEPEND UPON A COMPARISON OF ARMS MADE RED WITH THE DRIED BLOOD OF ONE’S ENEMIES AND THE REDDISH RAYS/HANDS OF THE RISING/SETTING SUN (?), THUS:
“Glories are seized by arms (भुजैः) made reddish-brown (परिपिञ्जर) from a rashly (हेला) drawn (कृष्ट) glittering (स्फुरत्) sword (खड्ग ) sun (दीप्तांशु) [SWORD-SUN=> ONE’S SWORD IS LIKE THE SUN], arms that are gloriously-acting-handed-in-affect/gesture’

THE SENSE IS APPARENTLY:
“That (असौ) fortune, although having slept in the arms of other men, is a modest housewife for a man who is characterized by extreme aggression, extreme anger/impatience, and conquered enemies.”
OR “… characterized by attacking others, being angry/impatient with others, and conquered enemies.”

मत्स्यो … विभीषणमपूजयत् ॥१५४॥

THE SENSE IS:
“Fish attacks fish, relative attacks relative - no doubt - Lord Rama honored Vibhīṣaṇa for the purpose of killing (Vibhīṣaṇa’s own brother) Rāvana.”

Name of a brother of rāvaṇa- (his other brothers were kubera- [by a different mother] and kumbha-karṇa-;both rāvaṇa- and vibhīṣaṇa- are said to have propitiated brahmā- by their penances, so that the god granted them both boons, and the boon chosen by vibhīṣaṇa- was that he should never, even in the greatest calamity, stoop to any mean action;hence he is represented in the rāmāyaṇa- as endeavouring to counteract the malice of his brother rāvaṇa-, in consequence of which he was so ill-treated by him that, leaving laṅkā-, he joined rāma-, by whom, after the death of rāvaṇa-, vibhīṣaṇa- was placed on the throne of laṅkā-)

A

SEE B&K’S NOTE HERE - THE TEXT IS MOST LIKELY DEFECTIVE.
वदत्सु दैन्यं शरणागतेषु
बहुप्रहारेषु भयेन युक्ताः ।
दयाविहीनाः प्रहरन्ति येत्र
ते रौरवादीनि निषेवयन्ति ॥१५५॥
THE SENSE SEEMS TO BE:
“Those who, endowed with fear, having abandoned compassion, rain blows upon the humble (‘speaking poor’), having come for refuge, having been the object of many beatings (already), these persons fall into the hells known as Raurava, etc.”
HERE रौरवादीनि IS APPARENTLY NEUTER PLURAL ACC OF DIRECTION TOWARDS = रौरव (“a hell”) + आदि (“etc.”) MODIFYING SOME UNDERSTOOD WORD FOR “hell” SUCH AS नरक (WHICH CAN BE NEUTER AS WELL AS MASCULINE”) AS THE OBJECT OF निषेवयन्ति (“they fall into (hell)”).
\
निषेवयन्ति = 3rd, pl, pres., act., indic. CS X
Causal -ṣevayati- to fall into (hell etc.) (Bombay edition)
\
FROM
√निषेव् ( sev-) = नि + √सेव् A1. -ṣevate- (imperfect tense ny-aṣevata- perfect tense ni-ṣiṣeve- ; ind.p. -ṣevya-), to stay in, abide or have intercourse with (locative case) ; (with accusative) to frequent, inhabit, visit, serve, attend, honour, worship, follow, approach, enjoy (also sexually), incur, pursue, practise, perform, cultivate, use, employ etc.: Causal -ṣevayati- to fall into (hell etc.) (Bombay edition) ; Desiderative -ṣiṣeviṣate-

\
THIS READING IS OBVIOUSLY VERY SUSPECT, SINCE THIS WORD APPARENTLY OCCURS ONLY 1x IN ALL OF SANSKRIT - IN THIS ONE EDITION OF THIS ONE TEXT - WITH THIS MEANING..
\
SO IT IS TEMPTING TO CONSIDER OTHER READINGS LIKE निवेशयन्ति - THE CS X FROM √निविश् = नि + √विश् FOR THE MEANING “they enter”. BUT निवेशयन्ति WOULD HAVE TO MEAN “they CAUSE to enter”, WHICH, AGAIN, WOULD MAKE NO SENSE. STILL, I THINK SOME FORM OF √निविश् = नि + √विश् WOULD MAKE A LOT MORE SENSE HERE.
