377C. Registrar may restore foreign company deregistered by mistake
A
General overview
[377C.01] Under the new s 377C, the registrar, at his own initiative, may restore the name of a foreign company that has been struck off the register under s 377(9) or (10), if the company had been struck off by the registrar’s mistake: Explanatory Statement to Bill No 25 of 2014, passed on October 8, 2014. However, such mistake does not extend to a mistake that was made on the basis of wrong or misleading information provided by an applicant in connection with striking off the company, where such an application was made under s 377(10).
