General overview
[270.01] A statement of affairs has to be made out and submitted to the official receiver or liquidator on the particulars of the company’s assets, debts and liabilities; names and addresses of its creditors and the securities held by them; the dates when the securities were given by the company respectively; and such further information as the official receiver or liquidator requires: s 270(1). This section is similar to ss 224 and 227L relating to the statement of affairs to be given to the receiver and manager and the judicial manager respectively.
