General overview
[377.01] Section 377 provides for the relevant procedures and time lines in the event that a foreign company ceases to have a place of business or carry on business in Singapore. Generally, a foreign company must lodge a notice of cessation with the registrar within seven days from the date it ceases to have a place of business or carry on business in Singapore, and its obligation under the Act to lodge any document will cease on the day on which it lodges the notice.
