  1. Delegation to liquidator of certain powers of Court
A

General overview
[288.01] Under s 288, the Companies (Winding up) Rules (GN No S 184/1969) were enacted to enable the court to delegate its powers and duties conferred by the Act to the liquidator. In particular, the powers delegated are enumerated in subsections (a)–(e). However, some matters are reserved exclusively to the court, viz the rectification of the register of members and the making of calls, unless special leave is obtained from the court and/or the committee of inspection respectively.
