General overview
[280.01] Section 280 provides that the court shall settle the list of contributories as soon as possible after the making of the winding up order. The procedures for settling the list of contributories are set out in rules 65–72 of the Companies (Winding up) Rules (GN No S 184/1969). The powers under s 280 to settle the list of contributories may be delegated to the liquidator under s 288(b).
