General overview
[179.01] Section 179 provides for the default position in respect of the quorum required to form a valid meeting, elect a chairman, voting and other procedural requirements needed to convene a meeting and pass the necessary resolution. The constitution may, of course, provide a different set of procedural requirements for the convening and holding of meetings.
