General overview
[348.01] Section 348 provides that property vesting in the official receiver by operation of Division 4, Subdivision 5 of Part X of the Act, or by operation of any previous written law, shall be liable and subject to all charges, claims and liabilities imposed thereon by reason of any statutory provision as to rates, taxes, charges or any other matter or thing had the property continued in the possession of the company. However, no obligations or liability whatsoever to do or suffer any act or thing other than the satisfaction or payment of the aforementioned shall be imposed on the official receiver or the government.
