370A. Alternate address Flashcards
370A. Alternate address
General overview
[370A.01] Section 370A lists the situations where a director or authorised representative may disclose or make available on the register an alternate address instead of a residential address, and the situations where a director or authorised representative may lose the option of disclosing an alternate address. The purpose of an alternate address is to safeguard the privacy of individuals such as the directors, chief executive officers, secretary and other “officers” of the Act when they have to fulfil reporting requirements under the Act: see the Report of the Steering Committee for Review of the Companies Act, April 2011, Chapter 5, paras 40–43.
