221. Notification of appointment of receiver

General overview
[221.01] Section 221 provides that when a receiver or manager is appointed by the court, or by any powers contained in any instrument over the property of the company, or the property in Singapore of any corporation, the person who obtains the order, or who appoints the receiver or manager shall notify the registrar within seven days of the date of the order or appointment. Conversely, the receiver or manager who ceases to act as such shall notify the registrar within seven days of his cessation of office.
