General overview
[150.01] This section applies only to public companies to prevent the appointment of two or more directors in a single resolution. This section ensures that members of the company are entitled to choose and vote for a particular person to become a director rather than vote for a slate of directors in a “package deal”.

A
[150.02] Section 150(1) prohibits the appointment of two or more persons as directors in a single resolution unless there was a unanimous resolution resolving that it shall be so. Such a resolution, even if not objected to at the time of its passing, shall be void
