General overview
[14.01] In cases of loss or destruction of the original constitution or any documents of any corporation, this section allows the corporation to relodge the same with the registrar.
Relodging of lost or destroyed documents
[14.02] This section concerns the relodgment of the constitution and any other document arising by virtue of the loss or destruction of the original constitution or any documents of any corporation.
Registrar’s powers
[14.03] The registrar is required to give notice of any relodgment by the corporation to any such persons who may be affected by the relodgment.
[14.04] Upon the successful relodgment, the registrar shall certify on that lodged copy that he is satisfied that the conditions of subsection (3) have been fulfiled and that lodged copy shall have the same force and effect as the original, including the original date of the filing and lodgment: see s 14(4).
