215G. Effect of amalgamations
A
General overview
[215G.01] Section 215G spells out the effect of an amalgamation. Basically, it states that the amalgamated company shall take over all the property, rights and privileges of each of the amalgamating companies, and all of their liabilities and obligations. Furthermore, all proceedings pending by or against any amalgamating company, and any conviction, ruling, charge or judgment in favour or against the amalgamating companies shall be transferred to the amalgamated company.
