A

General overview
[368.01] Section 368 specifies the lodgment, service, and inspection requirements in relation to the relevant documents of a foreign company for the purpose of registration under Division 2 of Part XI of the Act. Sections 368, 369, and 378 suggest that Parliament has created a business environment in Singapore in which all foreign companies are entitled to registration under Division 2 of Part XI of the Act for the purpose of carrying on business in Singapore, subject only to the prohibitions in ss 369 and 378. Once the foreign company submits the documents required under s 368(1), and pays the prescribed fees, the registrar shall register the company. However, registration of a foreign company under s 368 is subject to s 369 or 378 such that the company should not be registered
