General overview
[335.01] This section provides that any goods of a company taken in execution and where before the sale or completion of execution, notice is served on the bailiff that the company is being wound up, the bailiff shall deliver the goods and any money seized or received in part satisfaction of the execution to the liquidator. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the costs of the execution shall constitute a first charge on the goods or moneys so delivered and the liquidator may sell the goods, or a sufficient part thereof, for the purpose of satisfying the charge.
