211G. Power of Court to order re-vote

General overview
[211G.01] Section 211G(1) provides that at the hearing for the approval of the scheme by the court under s 210(4), the court may order the company to hold a second creditors’ meeting for the purpose of putting the scheme to a re-vote. In making such an order, the court is empowered to order or direct, inter alia, the classification of any creditor for the purposes of voting at the further meeting, the quantum of any creditor’s debt that is to be admitted for the purposes of voting at the further meeting and the weight to be attached to the vote of any creditor at the further meeting: s 211G(2).
