A

General overview
[344A.01] Section 344A provides that ACRA may, on the application by a company, by its directors or a majority of them, strike the company’s name off the register on such grounds and subject to such conditions as may be prescribed. Notwithstanding the foregoing, ACRA cannot strike the company’s name off the register until after the expiration of 60 days after the publication in the Gazette of a notice stating that ACRA intends to exercise its powers to strike off the company and is inviting any person to show cause why it should not be done within such period as may be prescribed.
