[155.01] Even persistent defaulters in lodging and filing any documents with the registrar may be disqualified to act as directors. It is viewed that such tardiness in complying with the filing provisions of the Act would be detrimental to third parties dealing with the company as they often rely on the public register to verify information on the company and its officers and members.
