Where can you find instructions for the phone?

A

How can you tell if the CC phone has a message? How do you access the Central Communications VM?

A

Next to the envelope symbol on the phone, the light will be red. Use the login & password that’s on the phone.

How, when, and why would you transfer a call to 650?

A

When you answer a call that is forwarded to you and they want to leave a message for that person. Hit “Transfer”, push 650, and push “Transfer” again. This will take them directly to that person’s VM without ringing again.

Transfer/extension/transfer.

How do you conference a call? When would you choose this instead of transferring?

A

Conference/extension/conference - if you don’t want the other’s to hear you or the background noise, put the phone on mute. You would use this if you want to stay on the line. You will also have to use it if you pick up and call someone and then need to get them to someone else. You are not able to “transfer”. It will not let you. You have to “conference” them. You can not hang up until the call is completed.
