Who is in charge of all campus vehicles?

What days and times do we schedule the driver’s test? What are the qualifications?
Monday - Friday: 9am, 10am, 2pm. Need to have junior standing & have to have group driving for. Have to schedule the test ahead of time.
What happens if they do not pass?
They can come back another day to retake the part they didn’t pass. Put the test they didn’t pass in the bottom tray (on Jill’s desk, labeled test), sticking out a bit, with a note stating they will retake.
How does someone request to reserve a van?
Send an email to “key and card access”. It will go to Jayne who will then schedule it.
When someone comes in to get keys for a van, where do we find out which van they are assigned? What do we need to check about the driver?
Vehicles binder. We need to check to see if they’re an authorized driver before we give them the keys (under Auth Drivers tab).
What 2 things is each van driver given?
Van keys & a clipboard.
Where and how do we log in a van that is checked out?
In BU Workorder Database under “Keys Carried Forward”. Put in the student’s name & (FMD42). Also fill out a yellow tag and place it in the key box on the corresponding tab.
Where is the insurance information for all vans?
On the back of the clipboard we give them & there’s a copy in each van’s glove box.
Where can you find a list of athletic groups that are going on a trip out of town?
In the vehicle binder. Separated by team/trip date.
Where are the spare keys located?
In the key cabinet, on the panel that houses the regular vehicle keys. The regular keys are on the front side & the spares are on the back side.
When groups or teams are going out of town, what is sent to Jayne to be placed in the inside, front pocket of the Vehicle Book?
The Itinerary for each group is to be printed and placed in the Vehicle Book. This way, if something happens, we have a list of all people who took the trip.
Where can the van drivers find the access card to get in and out of the DPD?
They should be on a lanyard in the slot above the rear view mirror.
What do the van drivers use to get gas for the van?
If they have their department credit card, they can use it to get fuel. If not, they will have to pay for the fuel themselves and then turn the receipt in to their department head to get reimbursed.
