Where are the instructions & messages for “BU fOREWARN - TEXT”?
In the black “Fireworks Operation Manual”, under BU fOREWARN TEXT in the white “CC Programs & Radios”, and the red emergency book. They are all above the weston computer.
When you send out a Forewarn text message, who will receive it?
Whoever signed up for it on the site.
How do you sign up for it?
Go to the Bradley website. Under “Index”, click on E and Emergency Text Messaging.
Where will it be posted after it is sent out?
When a message is sent out, it will be at the top Bradley University website page and on Twitter.
What step is this for emergency messaging?
This is the 2nd step in emergency messaging. You will do it immediately following the PA message.
What is the 3rd step after sending out the text message depending on the day and time?
If it is during the week and work day hours, you need to use the phone tree to call the offices that do not have the PA system.
Where can you find a list of the phone tree?
In the flip chart, red tab labeled “Phone Tree”.
What is the notification for the Hollywood campus?
We have students participating in the Hollywood semester and are able to send them emergency messages also.
Do you need to send out an “All Clear” message? When?
Yes, when the command officer gives the all clear.
