What are the conditions for abortion?
Occurs up to 23 weeks and 6 days of pregnancy, under the criteria that the termination would prevent physical or mental harm to the person, continuing the pregnancy would risk the life of the woman or the child would be born with severe physical or mental disabilities that would make them severely handicapped.
What is three person IVF?
Allows parents with a genetic mutation to have children where:
Father provides sperm
Mother supplies womb and egg nucleus
Third person supplies healthy mitochondria
