Q
What is Gonadotrophin-Dependent Precocious Puberty?
A
90% in females has NO identifiable cause. Managed by addressing associated brain neoplasms and using GnRH agonist (e.g., leuprolide) to suppress puberty via negative feedback. GH therapy may be used as GnRH agonists can stunt growth. Cryproterone (anti-androgen) is used by specialists.
