A
Normal variation (e.g., small child with small head), familial (e.g., parents with small head), congenital infection, perinatal brain injury (e.g., hypoxic ischaemic encephalopathy), fetal alcohol syndrome, syndromes (e.g., Patau), craniosynostosis.
