- Authorized restraints issued by the JSO consist of:
a. Double locking handcuffs;
b. The “hobble restraint” device;
c. Plastic handcuffs; and
d. Disposable spit masks.
Individuals will not be handcuffed to immovable objects unless the object was designed specifically for that purpose such as a ,………….

Double-locking handcuffs and case, as issued by JSO, shall be carried by all sworn, auxiliary, uniformed security officers, and corrections personnel in uniform. [FCAC 27.01]
