Functions of the Community Problem Response Unit (CPRU):
Deploys in the Violent Crime Hot Spots, citywide in each patrol zone, as identified by the Crime Analysis Unit (CAU).
Provides a weekly report to all patrol zones providing information on deployment efforts.
Supports the Investigative Division with directed enforcement activity and follow up
