(3) Once permission is received to exceptionally clear the case, the investigative officer shall complete a Supplemental Report stating the victim’s vehicle has been returned and they no longer want to seek prosecution of the suspect. The approving supervisor shall be listed in the narrative of the Supplemental Report.
