non HIV & HIV pharm - Exam 1A Flashcards
Acyclovir MOA
1)interferes with viral nucleic acid synthesis, its regulation or both (DNA & RNA)
2)prevents virus from binding to cells so virus cannot get into cells preventing replication
3)stimulates the body’s immune system to kill the virus
what class is Acyclovir
Anti-viral (non-HIV)
