What shall be done when a FF suffers an injury to an area of the body which is covered by PPE intended to prevent such an injury & it’s severe enough to cause medical leave?

A. WEARING an SCBA shall mean having the harness on, w/facepiece in a standby position. USING an SCBA shall mean having the facepiece on with the regulator donned.
Regs 11.3.29 - When members require medical treatment as a result of respiratory injuries incurred while operating with DONNED facepieces, BC in immediate command of members at the time of injury would conduct an investigation and fwd a report to the Bureau of Ops with a copy to the BHS & to the Div of Safety.
