2 Methods to attain accuracy in lining up ladder w/window: Experienced member vs Less Experienced member
Experienced= along ladder rail of top section “Rusty FF= Rail”
Less Section = beam on top sliding section
“Bop= Beam”
Recommended Distance of tip of AL from objective is “-”. In case of rescue _”. Exception:

Very Extreme angles allow ladder to barely touch bldg
Positioning AL at window- ladder tip should be less than _” over window sill

Using AL to vent windows
Aim at upper window panels just above the sash w/o hitting the sides or tops of window frames. Avoid striking ceiling & lower ladder to crack horizontal wooden sash
When removing victims w/AL and chocks & tormentors need to be set, have OV take the _ side
Outboard side (allows OV to observe bldg) & another FF to inboard side
Can AL be moved w/Firemen & victims on it
How shall FF descend AL w/victims on it

Fire Front Fat guy First: Most helpless 1st, then move to ambulatory
When more than 2 people need to be rescued Off should _
Off should contact 2nd Ladder & inform them of the need for supportive assistance

Bldg NOT completely vacant,
Prior knowledge that part of bldg used by Vagrants/Squatters, &
Reach of 100’ AL req’d for certain tasks
