What are the main features of tinnitus? (7)
A
Tinnitus: Sound in absence of stimuli e.g. buzzing, ringing, whistling, hissing.
Varies between intermittent/continuous/pulsatile.
Associated with: Hearing impairment, impacted wax, head injury, toxicity, Ménière’s disease, male, age, too-neurological not psychological.
