What is an appropriate medical officer? (1)
Doctor/person who is authorised to exercise supervision over midwives within the area.
What does a midwife required to do to make CD supply? (1)
Keep records of diamorphine, morphine, Pethidine received and administered in a book.
What should a midwife NOT do when making a CD supply? (2)
Destroy surplus stocks but may surrender it to the appropriate medical officer or to the person from where they obtained the CD.
How long should the pharmacist retain the midwives supply order for? (1)
2 years.
