Hypersensitivity reactions:
- Steven’s-Johnson Syndrome
- Anaphylactic Shock

What factors can increase the px’s risk of developing SJS / Anaphylactic shock? (2)
A
Occurs during first month of tx:
- Prior Hx of hypersensitivity to allopurinol
- Renal disease
