HTN, anaemia, CHF
Drugs causing subjective tinnitus
aspirin, loop diuretics, aminoglycosides, quinine, alcohol
Objective tinnitus - what is it? type of sound? correspond to where?
noises could be heard by others too
popping/clicking - commonly mid ear
pulsatile sounds - often vascular
mgmt of tinnitus
underlying cause
advice - use background noise to mask it
psych support
hearing aids
unilateral? - needs Ix for acoustic neuroma
