Q

Risk factors used in 20/2/20 rule and how risk is determined

A

bone marrow plasma cells greater than 20%, M-protein level greater than 2 g/dL, and involved/uninvolved free light chain (FLC) ratio greater than 20. These criteria correlate to low, intermediate, or high risk based on presence of no factors, one factor, or two to three factors, respectively.
