Therapeutic effects and uses
A
Used for hypertension and for the long-term management of chronic stable angina. Also given IV to reduce the risk of sudden death in patients with acute MI.

Common adverse effects
A
Nausea, vomiting, fatigue, dizziness, and headache. Also bradycardia at low normal doses.

Warning
A
Don’t spot abruptly especially with people who have Coronary artery disease.
