teratoma
- mature (benign)
- -more common right
- -rarely exceed 10 cm
- -ectodermal differentiation
- imature (malignant)
- -hair, cartilage, bone
- monodermal or specialized
- -struma ovarii, entirely composed of mature thyroid tissue
- -carcinoid, must be differentiated from metastatic disease
