Q

Identify and discuss one limitation of the humanistic approach in psychology

A

One limitation of the humanistic approach is that it is culturally bias. Many of the ideas associated with the humanistic approach indiuvals freedom, autonomy and personal growth would much readily be associated with more individualist tendencies. Countries with more collectivist tendencies emphasis more the needs of groups and interdependence. In such counties the humanists approach may not be as important as in others. Therefore does not apply universally and is a product of the ultra context that it was developed in.
