BDEL. “Well, alright, I’m listening.”

“What do you say?”
ἴθι, ὦ πάτερ, λέξον.
“Go on, Father, speak.”
ΦΙΛ. ποῦ εἰσιν οἱ κάδοι;
PHIL. “Where are the voting-urns?”
οὐ γὰρ δύναμαι τὴν ψῆφον θέσθαι ἄνευ τῶν κάδων, εὖ ἴσθ’ ὅτι.
“For I cannot place the vote without voting urns, know it well.”
(ἐκτρέχων ἄρχεται ὁ γέρων)
