What is diapedesis?
Process of squeezing through blood vessels
What is chemotaxis?
Attraction of leukocytes to chemicals at an infection site
What does leukocyte contain?
Contain nucleus and organelles, but no hemoglobin
What is histamine?
Release causes increase in blood vessel diameter and capillary permeability (allergy symptoms) - basophil
What is heparin?
Release inhibits blood clotting - basophil
What is T-lymphocytes?
Manage immune response
What is B-Lymphocytes?
Become plasma cells and produce antibodies
What is NK cells?
Attack abnormal and infected tissue cells
