A
-paradigm
-paradigm is framework of ideas , assumptions , methods and technique
-try to solve puzzles in the way the paradigm suggests
-conform to paradigm, don’t offer critiques or falsify theories

A
-socio has its own paradigms e.g func and marx have their own framework of ideas
-theories can be replaced by new theories e,g postmodernism

-socio doesn’t fit into unified paradigm (conflicting perspectives)-can’t be scientific
-different paradigms exist alongside each other
